Guano Run 5K Fun Run

Lace up your sneakers, cause the Guano Run 5K Fun Run is headed your way!!! This 5K race for bat awareness and conservation leads right into the Bat Appreciation Day event right after crossing the finish line at Blackadder Brewing Company!

Whether you Guano Run as a solitary bat, or form a colony, join us while supporting Lubee Bat Conservancy’s mission of bat conservation. Walk or run this 5K – all ages are welcome!  Pre-registration is required.

The 5K will start and end at Blackadder Brewing Company and will follow 60th Street to 62nd Street where the bulk of the run will take place. For reasons of safety, this route utilizes sidewalks and avoids road crossings.

Feel free to time yourself if you’re feeling competitive but remember the Guano Run 5K is for the fun of the run. So, lace up those sneakers and put on your bestest/funnest bat attire!

PARTICIPATION: 

Not only are you supporting your health during this charity event, but you’re also supporting the care of the bats at Lubee Bat Conservancy with your run donation. Lubee Bat Conservancy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and your registration fees are tax deductible. 

PRIZES: 

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers at 11:30am! Prizes are unique arts and crafts donated by local and national artists.

Race will start at 10am.

CHECK IN: 9am-9:45am

During check all participants will sign a participation waiver, and receive their swag bag of goodies including a commemorative Guano Run 5K T-shirt, a participation medal, stickers, a voucher for a FREE pint at Blackadder Brewing Company, and more! 

REGISTRATION STARTS: February 1st

REGISTRATION ENDS: March 30th 

LATE REGISTRATION: April 1 - April 6th  There is NO same day registration.

COST: $30/person LATE FEE: $45/person
