Join Lubee Bat Conservancy on Saturday, October 25th from 10-5pm for a day filled with thrilling activities, captivating exhibits, and unforgettable experiences for the whole family.  And of course, the world’s largest bats!

Florida Bat Festival Event Details

* When is the 21st Florida Bat Festival? Saturday, October 25th, 10am to 5pm. Last ticket entry at 4:30pm.

* Where is the Florida Bat Festival located at? The Florida Bat Festival is held at Lubee Bat Conservancy at 1309 NW 192nd Ave., Gainesville, FL 32609.

* When do the gates open? Gates will open at 10am.

* What is the cost of admission? $5 Ages 5-12 $10 Ages 13 & up FREE for children ages 4 and under $45 Beer Garden at the gate Ages 21+. Thank you for your donation! All tickets can be purchased at the gate or online. Beer garden tickets are while supplies last.

* Can I visit the Beer Garden during the FL Bat Festival? Any general admission ticket holder of the FL Bat Festival may walk through the beer garden area and enjoy the live music! ONLY guests 21 and older may purchase & participate in the Beer Garden. Beer Garden tickets are limited. Tickets are $45 at the gate &/or $35 online, while supplies last. Participants must be 21+ years old and provide a valid ID.

* Is there parking on site? Is there a parking fee? Parking is in mowed grassy, uneven field located on Lubee property. Handicap parking and a drop off zone are available. There is no parking fee.

* Is the FL Bat Festival handicap accessible? Yes. Please note that Lubee is located on open fields and the ride may get bumpy. Handicap drop-off & pick up is available at the front gate.

* What should I expect during the FL Bat Festival? Our family friendly festival promises to be a fun-filled day! Enjoy games & activities in the Kids Zone, shop from local artisans, visit multiple local food trucks, speak with Lubee's resident Bat Experts while enjoying the WORLD'S LARGEST bats, chat with local conservation non-profits, listen to live music, & enjoy unlimited samples in the Beer Garden from Local Florida Breweries (ticket required; 21 & older). ​

* Does the FL Bat Festival have WiFi? Lubee is located where cellular service is limited and we are not able to provide WIFI throughout the whole festival. WIFI can be found at the festival entrance.

* I have special diet concerns. Can I bring my own food? Yes. Lubee will have several food trucks listed in the vendor section below. If none of those options appeal to you, please feel free to bring your special diet needs. We ask that you are considerate and place all trash in the appropriate receptacles.

* Are pets allowed during the FL Bat Festival? NO PETS or EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS are allowed on Lubee property. Leave them at home. Only trained service dogs are allowed and they are prohibited from entering the bat viewing area.

* Is smoking permitted during the FL Bat Festival? NO. Smoking &/or vaping are NOT allowed on Lubee property. This includes the parking area.

* What should I wear &/or bring to the FL Bat Festival? We suggest comfortable clothes and footwear based off the weather forecast. We love seeing your favorite bat attire though. 😉🦇😍 We recommend hats, water bottles, & sunscreen though.

Beer Garden Ticket Holder must be 21 years old on or before October 25th, 2004.

  • ​$25 EARLY BAT🦇Beer Garden Tickets (March 1st - May 31st)

  • $35 Beer Garden Tickets (June 1st - October 11th) October 11th is the LAST day to purchase Beer Garden Tickets online.

  • $45 Beer Garden Tickets  day of event, at the gate, on October 25th. While supplies last!

 

Beer Garden participants receive a wristband and a 6oz souvenir glass for UNLIMITED beer samples.     
Beer Garden ticket includes general festival entry.
